What we do

We’re a collective of waste based social enterprises, working to create new products out of waste and growing our own small businesses, collectively.

Tāmaki WRAP Charitable Trust and Rākau Tautoko are providing our foundation in partnership and we have been funded by Auckland Council – through The Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board and The Waste Minimisation and Innovation Fund.

Our Anchor Tenants

For 2018, we have two Anchor Tenant, and currently, have space for one more! If you would like to know more about the third space, get in touch with Tara from Rākau Tautoko.

The two current anchor tenants are:

Chinese Conservation Environmental Trust – Educating Chinese about waste reduction and environmental efforts including the repairing of home appliances.

Multi Educational Support Services Trust – Supporting the education of Pacific Whānau in the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki communities, specifically around clothing upcycling.

Our Seedling Tenants

Brooke McCarthy – is a local mum of 3 children who is inspired by the potential for tyres, and any opportunity that walks in the Hub Zero door.

Sorcha Conran – is a local mum of 2 children who is passionate about waste reduction and the creation of high quality products from waste.
